The Minutes of the Meeting held on 12TH FEBRUARY 2018 were approved and signed.

MATTERS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES
4a. Transparency Fund Purchases. Cheque has been received and laptop received. Setting up almost complete.
- Parish website. Updated apart from transparency purchase and perhaps update the images of councillors
- BT Chairman letter awaiting approval from Chair. Further problems will need to be addressed and Chair will send the amended letter.
- Training Courses.
Planning Nuts and Bolts is running on Thurs 22nd March 2018, 10am - 1pm
Clerk to ask for the presentation from organisers.
Clerks 3 Clerk’s Training Sessions 21st March 1pm.
(e) Great British Spring Clean rearranged Sunday 15th April.
(f) Precept Query for 2018/2019. Been actioned by Mary Fenton 2nd Jan 2018
(g) Annual Parish Meeting planning Mon 23rd April 2018. Clerk to ask for support from Mary.
(h) AGM Planning Mon 14th May 2018. Clerk to ask for support from Mary.
(i) Blocked drain Main St Grimston being cleared 20th march and so will number 6 Shoby Lane not far from there at same time. If there is an issue with a burst main then Severn Trent will be informed to action repairs.
CORRESPONDENCE
(a)DPO Service advice. Advised to wait for NALC advice.
(b)NALC GDPR Tool Kit NALC launches new toolkit on General Data Protection Regulation. Clerk to provide insight at next meeting.
(c)Blaby PC and Neighbourhood plan. Grimston too small to consider such a project.
(d) RCC Rural Achievement Awards 2018. Chair to commend Mary Fenton for Rural Service Award. Nominate by 30th April
(e) LCC – Request for case studies. Not necessary
(f) LRALC Internal Audit Service. This is for yearly account validation.
(g) Cloud backup offered by Astley computers but Google drive may be enough for us.
(h) Invite to a briefing session for Parish & Town Councils on the proposed Leicestershire Passenger Transport Policy and Strategy. Mon 26th March 18.30- 20.30 at county hall.
(I) Play ground inspection around May/June
(J) GDPR Pack 2 £30. Clerk to investigate
(K) Grimston War Memorial. Alison to provide any detail around this memorial which may be of special architectural interest or Historic to Historic England
